We had the beef and lamb platter and the dumplings. It's only for dipping and cooking and you can have it by itself if you like. I was worried about how we would know our meat was cooked but I soon found out when it cooked in like five seconds of dipping it in the soup! We initially thought that we had to finish that big bowl of soup but thankfully that wasn't expected. We ordered the split soup base which had both the bases and once the hot plate on our table was switched it, it quickly came to a boil.
